Jacksonville, Florida Food Guide
Jacksonville, Florida holds a special place in my heart. Now don't get me wrong is, it's not on the top of my list to live long term, but I love coming here and finding new spots! I think Jacksonville might actually surprise you! From am array of coffee shops and of course all the BEACH VIBES, don't sleep on JAX! Although maybe skip going to a Jaguars Game, not sure how their seasons looking LOL!
We'll Talk Food but First, COFFEE!
If I'm being totally honest, I think Jacksonville has a super underrated coffee scene! Every time I visit there is a new coffee shop for me to try! So here are just a few to check out that are sure to quench your thirst!
SOUTHERN GROUNDS - Did I mention their BAKERY IS FIREEEEEE
And let's be real, that Florida heat means we need to cool down! While an iced coffee might due the trick, and water is the BEST option, you can never go wrong with ICE CREAM! Be sure to check out....
MAYDAY Hand Crafted Ice Creams! - Seriously, one of my favorites, I get it whenever I'm in town! They serve up some delicious ice cream & have plant based/vegan options, go ahead and try a sample of each, I already know how hard it is going to be to pick two scoops.

Insomnia Cookies - Not specific to JAX but it's always nice to have a little bit of home wherever you go! Familiar, delicious and always open late!
904 Churros - out of the city and around the St. Augustine area but worth it! You can customize your own churros and they are freshly made when you order!
Good Dough Doughnuts! Such Unique Donuts - Yup with Vegan Options on Fridays!!

You definitely can't go wrong with grabbing some Renna's Pizza! One of my favorite New York Style pizza places!
Hawkers Asian Street Food - Another place that I love so much I never end up getting a picture! LOL WORTH IT! GO HERE!
Overall, whenever I got to Jacksonville, I can usually find some delicious hidden gems, my only big disappointment is that whenever I'm in JAX, I never really stop to eat at fine dining restaurants, it's usually quick grab and go food, with a major focus on treats! Not sure if it's my taste buds or that I'm usually with my sister and we are always on the hunt for a sweet treat and ALL the COFFEE!
